I’m very grateful that I was able to go to Falls Creek as well as Super Summer this year. Camp is an experience like no other, being able to get away for a week with your friends and be with God is something so good for your spiritual health! The Lord showed me so many things these past two weeks at camp!
At Falls Creek the speaker talked about what it means to be selfless. God was really moving in my heart and giving me opportunities to live like him and be selfless.
At Super Summer the Lord really showed me that his ways are higher than my own and that trusting in his plans is what’s best for me. Even when it’s hard even when it doesn’t make sense, and even when I don’t want to; his plans are so much better than mine!
I’m praying that the Lord helps me to bring these things that I’ve learned at camp to our youth group and throughout my life.
The top three reasons why I love camp are:
1- Having fun with your church community and strengthening relationships
2- Worshipping with so many other people my age
3- Volleyball
I’m so grateful for all the things that Council Road has done for the youth ministry, especially during this week at camp. Whether that’s volunteering, growing, or prayer, it wouldn’t be possible without you!
